What kind of leather do you use?

Our core line is crafted from genuine full-grain and top-grain cowhide — the most durable cuts of the hide, chosen because they age beautifully and outlast cheaper splits and bonded leather. Every piece is built to be worn hard and kept for years.

Where a design calls for it, we also work with sheepskin and suede. The material is listed on each product page so you always know exactly what you're buying.

Are your pieces handmade?

Yes. Chaos Society pieces are cut, tooled, and finished by hand by skilled leatherworkers. Because of that, slight variations in grain, tone, and marking are natural — no two pieces are identical, and that's part of the character of real leather rather than a flaw.

What do your gothic and religious designs represent?

Our designs draw from gothic, ecclesiastical, and esoteric traditions — crosses, sigils, cathedral motifs, and symbolism rooted in centuries of art and faith. We create them as wearable self-expression and respect the meaning behind them.

Do you offer vegan or faux-leather options?

Select styles are available in high-grade vegan leather for those who prefer it. When a vegan option exists, you'll see it on the product page. If you'd like a particular design produced in vegan leather, contact us — for bulk runs especially, we can usually accommodate it.

Sizing & Custom Work
How do I choose the right size?

Each product page includes a detailed size guide with measurements in inches. We recommend measuring against a piece you already own and comparing to the chart rather than guessing by your usual size, since leather garments and accessories fit differently than fabric.

Can I personalize or customize a product?

Yes. Many pieces can be customized with engraving, added symbols, hardware changes, or color adjustments. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll confirm what's possible and the cost.

Please note that personalized and made-to-order items are produced specifically for you, so they fall outside our standard return policy unless they arrive faulty.

Can you create a fully custom design from scratch?

Absolutely — bespoke and custom work is one of our specialties. Share your concept, reference images, or sketches and our team will develop it into a finished piece. Custom commissions typically take [X–X weeks] depending on complexity. (Set your real lead time here.)

Orders & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. All payments are processed through Shopify's secure, PCI-compliant checkout.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Checkout is encrypted end-to-end and handled by Shopify's secure payment system. We never see or store your full card details on our servers.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We move quickly, so contact us as soon as possible — ideally within [X hours] of ordering. If your order hasn't entered production or shipped, we'll do our best to update or cancel it. How long will my order take?

Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?

Bulk & Wholesale
Do you offer bulk and wholesale pricing?

Yes — Chaos Society supplies retailers, brands, event organizers, and resellers with tiered wholesale pricing. The larger the order, the better the per-unit rate. Email us with the styles and quantities you need and we'll send a custom quote.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Can you private-label or add our branding?

Can I order samples before committing to a bulk run?

What are lead times and payment terms for bulk orders?

Product Care
How do I care for my leather?

Treat genuine leather well and it will last for years:

  • Keep it dry; if it gets wet, let it air-dry away from direct heat.
  • Condition occasionally with a quality leather balm to prevent cracking.
  • Store in a cool, dry place — avoid prolonged direct sunlight.
  • Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; avoid harsh chemicals.

A little patina over time is normal and adds to the character of the piece.
